The first snow in 2010 and in our life

Heavy snow in NY and NJ.

My friends and I went shopping early today, but happened to snow later. 

We were lucky to take the last shift bus from port authority in NY to NJ.  The Bus was stocked in the half way once and lost heat.  

We were glad to arrive train station of New Brunswick safely, but soon found out that there is no transportation to send us home.  Knight mover was canceled in this meantime!  Rutgers Police department said that we are safe under a cover, and they have priority to save someone in real emergency.  

After a long time waiting, getting help, and discussing, we decided to WALK HOME from train station to Starkey Apartment (2.4 miles = 3.86km).  It's 11:30pm.  

We walked like a troop of soldiers, climbed hills of snow, and said hello to snow shoveling machines. This is the first marching experience to two girls and one male American.

12:30am, we were home finally.  Home WARM and sweet home.

p.s. 這距離，相當於在積水又下大雨的夜裡，從台北車站走到台大。
